Senior Account Executive, Germany
Location Fully remote, Germany or Austria
Reports to Chief Operating Officer
Type Full time, permanent
Languages German (native or near-native) and English
The role
sandsiv+ is agentic Voice of the Customer for large enterprises. Swiss made, sovereign by design.
Germany and Austria are where our argument lands hardest. Every serious conversation about an American cloud provider now ends up at the CLOUD Act, and that is ground we win. Allianz is already a customer, and Swisscom and the Kantonsspital Winterthur show German-speaking buyers what we do in their own regulatory world.
You will open the market: build the territory, close new enterprise business end to end, and report straight to the COO.
Why customers buy
Our AI agents read every customer signal, find the cause behind it, put a figure in euros against the damage, name an owner and set a deadline. Across our customers, the median time from a friction being detected to a fix shipping is six days. Without us it is forty-two.
Sovereignty is the second reason, and in German and Austrian enterprise and public sector it is often the first. Under the US CLOUD Act an American court can reach any US provider's data wherever the servers sit. SANDSIV is Swiss with no US parent to compel, so sandsiv+ runs in EU or Swiss clouds, in a private cloud, or in the customer's own data centre, and nothing ever trains a shared model. We hold ISO 27001, 27701, 27017 and 27018, SOC 2 Type II and CSA STAR Level 1.
Frost & Sullivan, QKS Group, Info-Tech Research Group and Everest Group all name us a Leader or a Key Innovator in their current Voice of the Customer evaluations, and Frost & Sullivan gave us their European Technology Innovation Leadership Award for explainable AI.
We are headquartered in Zurich, with offices in Reading and Valencia.
Who you sell against
Mostly Medallia and Qualtrics, sometimes an incumbent survey tool that has sat in the account for a decade. Three arguments win: a flat fee instead of pricing per response, data that stays in Europe, and analysis the customer can audit instead of trust. You will have written comparison material, named references and a solutions engineer behind each of them.
What you will do
- Build and run your own pipeline in Germany and Austria: prospecting, qualification, negotiation and close
- Sell into enterprise accounts, typically €40,000 to €200,000 in annual contract value, with cycles of six to twelve months
- Run consultative, multi-stakeholder deals across CX, IT, procurement and data protection
- Work with our solutions engineer to prove value in evaluations and proofs of concept
- Work with customer success to expand every account you win
- Represent sandsiv+ at industry events and with partners in Germany and Austria
- Bring the field back into product, particularly on data residency and compliance requirements
- Keep the pipeline clean and the forecast honest
Your first ninety days
- Weeks 1 to 4: the product in depth with the team, and time inside our existing accounts
- Weeks 4 to 8: a target list you built and can defend, and your first qualified opportunities
- By week 12: a pipeline we can both forecast from
What you bring
Required
- Five or more years selling B2B software to enterprise accounts in Germany and Austria, with a record of closing new business
- Experience owning a full cycle rather than working inbound leads or passing to a closer
- Comfort selling to CX, marketing, operations and IT stakeholders in the same deal
- Fluency with HubSpot, lemlist and sales automation platforms, and the discipline to keep them clean
- Practical skill with LLMs and AI tools in your own workflow: research, sequencing, qualification, proposal drafting
- German at native or near-native level, and English good enough to work daily with a Zurich-based team
Helpful
- Background in CX, VoC, analytics, contact centre or martech
- Familiarity with GDPR and data residency as buying criteria, not just legal boxes
- Experience selling into telecoms, utilities, insurance, manufacturing or public sector
We care more about what you have closed and how you got there than about which logos are on your CV.
What we offer
- A European reference base, and the strongest sovereignty argument in the market you sell into
- Direct access to leadership. You report to the COO and there is no layer between you and the decisions
- A solutions engineer on your deals, and comparison and reference material that is already written
- HubSpot and lemlist already in place, and a company that expects you to use AI in your own workflow rather than one that blocks it
- In September our agentic analysis product, InsightNarrator, becomes the new sandsiv+ and widens what you can sell
- A small team where your results are visible
Yours to build. Germany and Austria is wide open. You choose the accounts, the sequence and the plays, with our references, our solutions engineer and the COO behind you. This is a territory you build and own, not one you inherit.
How we work
We move fast, because moving slowly and missing the opportunity is the worse mistake. We are transparent, and we share information, mistakes and wins. We expect people to leave here with skills they did not arrive with. Success together matters more than ego. And we have fun doing it.
Practical details
- Pay: base €75,000 to €90,000 a year, with roughly the same again in variable. On target €150,000 to €180,000, uncapped
- Employment: we have no German entity yet, so we engage through an employer of record or as a contractor. We will tell you exactly which on the first call
- Start: as soon as you are free
sandsiv+ is an equal opportunity employer. We recruit for excellence and we believe a diverse team makes a better one.
